We’re afraid of admitting working with AI

… but we don’t have to.

I just read a LinkedIn post from a fantastic developer who said he still writes 90% of his code himself, but he does save 20-30% of time thanks to AI.

He describes how he writes his code, then pastes most of it into Claude and lets Claude simplify it, making it better and more performant.

It is funny, isn’t it? The truth is, this developer isn’t writing any code anymore. When Claude simplifies all of his code, Claude is writing 100% of that code.

But do you know what this developer is still doing? He’s creating. He’s creating 100% of that code, better and faster than before.

We don’t need to be afraid; we should embrace our newfound productivity.
