The best available human
isn't the best human in the world, it simply is the one you have at hand, or not.
We love to complain about AI not being better than humans at certain tasks - but we tend to forget that most of the time, we might suck at that task.
I’m not great at correcting my writing, not at all, in fact. I suck. There are plenty of great humans for that task, but you know what? They aren’t readily available to me.
Using AI for that is better for me because of the “best available human” idea.
