Reusability in data models

Maxime, data tooling visionary and CEO of preset, recently sat down to tackle the problem of reusability.

It is funny how you can talk to any two data engineers in the world, and you’ll find they work on roughly similar topics and build similar models, and yet they both will tell you it’s impossible to standardize anything in the modeling space.

Maxime challenges that assumption. He’s probably right, and there is a chance here, but it’s also unlikely to happen fast as the method he lies out is focused on very experienced data engineers, and most aren’t.
