This is my process.
Pick a time to complete a task, like “writing my next five blog posts for datacisions” - 90 minutes.
Write down the steps I need to take: “Select topics from my topic list, refine the headlines, write the posts, then copy-edit them, and finally schedule them.”
Spend the next 60 minutes building a better tool. That could be processes, it could be a checklist I’m using, or more often than not, it is an actual App I’m building these days.
Make sure you ship your little tool within 60 minutes.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor for days to come.
